Well, after enjoying all my friends Deviantart accounts and finding out that its alright to post poetry and prose as well as drawings in it, I decided it might be a good idea to get one too. I'm currently just starting to draw myself and don't have a scanner, so there won't be any visual art for a while, but at the same time I'm trying to improve my written skills and have decided that having the things I write sitting on my hdd only getting looked at by me is not going to get me the criticism I need to improve. Plus I want to try my hand at poetry. If I'm really bad it, I promise to stop, so as to minimize casualties.

For now, I'm just going to add two short pieces of prose which I'm happy with putting up for now.
One is a piece of...you could almost call it "fan fiction" in homage to star wars. It's more of a comedy skit.
The other is a story I wrote a long time ago, and I enjoy it for nostalgic reasons. It probably could do with cleaning up and working on, but I like its clean simplicity because it reminds me of how I used to write when I was younger. Badly...true. But simply.
Other than that all that will pop up until I produce something worth borrowing my friends scanner to input are bits and pieces of a work in progress that I particularly want feedback on, and maybe some drawings entirely created on the computer as I learn to use all these interesting menu options in the paint style program I'm using. And of course, the aforementioned poetry. Fear. Hehe.
I guess this is a good enough introductory entry. Later.
